Two more drop out of the running

So two more names are out of the Nationals managerial search.  Can’t say I’m surprised about Girardi. If he wanted the job, he would’ve had it by now. Expect to see him in the broadcast booth or in the Yankee dugout in 2007.  I never saw the interest in Terry Pendleton to begin with except he has ties to Kasten from Atlanta.
How many more candidates will drop out this week?

Carpenter loves pitching at Busch and it showed again tonight. He’s now 4-0 in the postseason at the Beer Garden (Busch Stadium). The three winning pitchers in the first three games of the WS have been electric going eight innings and allowing a combined two runs.  The Cardinals defense was on point and they provided the timely hits to go along with the big outing from Carpenter.
